Paris & London Fashion Week Just Gave Us Major NYE Inspo

"For a futurist new year, Off-White swiped color across models eyes and emphasized their pretty faces with natural mascara and highlighter."

It is time to ring in 2019 with some Paris and London fashion weeks spring/summer 19 beauty looks for NYE. We may still be in winter 18, but when designers showcase glitter hair and embellished eyes on the runway who can wait? Not us!

With so many options, hows a girl to pick? If Swarovski eyeliner lids sounds like the move then Valentino has the inspiration. Models in Paris strutted down the runway with eyes so bright, blinding front row seaters and possibly themselves. Makeup artist Pat McGrath used lilac, magenta, and blue shades of crystals. We recommend downloading the KiraKira app for full Instagram-able potential.

Simone Rocha bedazzled eyes with a subtle touch of MAC’s dazzle shadow. A little goes along way. Giambattista Valli went a the glitter hair route for an ombre effect. This look it is certainly a head turner, so pick up a pot of glitter and shimmering color sprays and get to it. For hair color minus the glitter, Marc Jacobs died hair in sherbet colors. They sell temporary hair dyes and sprays for that.

If your dress is already covered in sequins like runway looks from Yves Saint Laurent or Celine then top off the look with a headband or black hat for a bohemian chic feel. YSL also sported a silver eye mask over the head, so when the countdown comes, instead of rocking the traditional year’s numbers over the eyes, you can pull down a sexy eye mask. Having your first kiss of the year masked, sounds like a fun way to start 2019! Wouldn’t you say?

The ultimate eye accessory is Givenchy’s jewel covered glasses with dangling diamond at the sides. Throw these on and no one will question it. We call these the “throw on and party” look. Jacquemus featured models with enhanced natural curls. If your texture is naturally curly then why not embrace your volume? Nothing says NYE more then luscious locks to make heads turn.

A traditional cat eye or smokey shadow is yawn worthy compared to Dries Van Noten dark statement eyes. Swatches of jet black were swiped across models lids complimented by a choppy angled hair fringe. If your resolution is to let your hair grow out then forget the hair fringe and take are eyes to a darker side. Rochas chose a subtler black eye but equally as show stopping, with graphic floating black eyeliner.

If you’re not feeling a graphic eye, Chanel embraced the clumpy mascara to enhance the eye. Layer on the mascara and pair is with a coral pink lip to look pretty holding a glass of bubbly.

For a futurist new year, Off-White swiped color across models eyes and emphasized their pretty faces with natural mascara and highlighter. Painting your ears never felt so 2019!
