Good Genes is Pricey But Worth it
"The Lactic Acid exfoliates skin and the licorice brightens the appearance of hyperpigmentation."

I wanted to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, so I went on Sephora's website and read the reviews for Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment by Sunday Riley. The reviews were all raving about the treatment. After only one use I was hooked myself. I used the cream as an overnight treatment the other night, applying it all over my face and neck before I went to bed. The next morning I woke up amazed by my baby smooth skin.
Good Genes exfoliates dull, pore-clogging dead skin cells to reveal smoother, brighter and plumper skin. With continued use, the appearance of stubborn hyperpigmentation are said to reduce. At first I was nervous the AHA's would be too harsh to be left on my skin overnight. I consider my skin to be sensitive and this was not the case. I had no negative reaction. Some reviews mention a burning sensation at first. I had no such reaction. I struggle here and there with hormonal breakouts and they tend to leave red marks and dark spots. I've been starting to get stubborn blackheads along my chin and avoid picking them so i don't create further damage, but I want them gone!
I was feeling down and remembered I had Good Genes and gave it a try. I couldn't believe how expensive the product was (it is $158 price tag on Sephora's website), so I was saving it for when I really needed it. I used it two nights in a row and I swear I noticed some dark spots fading.
Good Genes can also be used as a 10 minute deep detox facial. It is free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates which is super important to me because I'm going to be applying this every night. I'm confident in a month my skintone will be completely even. The Lactic Acid exfoliates skin and the licorice brightens the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Sometimes an expensive product is worth the splurge. Confidence comes from within but it doesn't hurt to give your skin some extra special love when it truly needs it. I wouldn't usually advocate for an expensive product like this when there can be an home remedies to solve a skin crisis, but the experts over at Sunday Riley know what their doing when creating Good Genes. I can't ignore the results or the reviews. I even have the cream on as I'm writing this now, so I had to share. Ready to wake up tomorrow with retexturized radiant skin.
